  Jerry Smith
Head Women's Soccer Coach, Santa Clara University
Jerry Smith enters his 15th year at the helm, having built Santa Clara soccer into a national power since taking over head coaching duties in the fall of 1987. He is the winningest women's soccer coach in the school's history, with a record of 219-58-15 (.776) in 14 years. The Broncos boast 12 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances with seven national semifinals, and have been ranked among the top 10 teams in the country. Additional duties for Smith include serving as coach for the U.S. National Under-21 team beginning in spring 2001. more...

Since becoming a U.S. Soccer National Staff Coach in 1992, Ellinger has been busy with various assignments. The U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team calls John head coach for a third season, and he was assistant for the U.S. Men's Olympic team which finished fourth at the Games in Australia. Ellinger was the most successful coach in the history of U.S. Soccer men's national teams programs in the 90's with a .723 winning percentage and a 30-8-9 record.  more...

Jerry Yeagley enters the 2001 season as the winningest active coach in men's collegiate soccer. In his 28 years with Indiana, 494 victories rank second on the all-time list. An .825 winning percentage led the country in that time span and stands as the third best mark in NCAA history. Head Coach, WPSL Gold
Judy Martino is in her fourth season as a head coach in the Women's Professional Softball League. Martino is coach of the new Gold squad, actually the 2000 Olympic team, after one season with the Ohio Pride and Durham Dragons, and two earlier seasons with the Carolina Diamonds. Martino's debut in the league came with a victory in the inaugural WPSL All-Star game with eight of her Diamond players. In 1998 she coached the Diamonds to the WPSL Championship.  more...

Head Coach, University of Nebraska
After leading Nebraska to several of its most successful seasons ever, 1998 Big 12 Coach of the Year Rhonda Revelle completed her ninth season in winning style. Ranked No. 11 in the country, the 2001 squad finished 51-15 with a Big 12 conference title and seventh straight NCAA bid. A school record for consecutive wins was broken with 18 straight wins in March. Forty-seven regular-season victories also set a school record.
 
The 2000 Huskers made the "Sweet Sixteen," were postseason Big 12 tournament champs and posted a 52-21 record. In 1999 the squad finished 35-21 and advanced to a regional final.  more...
