Karlene Sugarman, M.A. is a Sport Psychology Consultant in California. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Saint Mary's College in 1991 and her Master's Degree in sport psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 1993. She was a competitive athlete for 10 years.

Karlene has her own practice and has conducted workshops for the U.S. Tennis Association, Charles Schwab, ASU Coaches Clinic, All-American Sports Academy, and many others. She has also worked with teams at schools such as UCLA, University of San Francisco, St. Mary's College, University of San Diego, San Jose State University, Cal State Northridge, and others.

Karlene is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology (AAASP); and was a member of the Sport Science Committee for the U.S. Tennis Association, Nor Cal from 1993 to 1999. She has published articles in several magazines and has been featured on many Sports Talk radio shows around the country.
